Competition for Design Concept of NTV Technopark Interior Announced
NTV Television Company has invited professional architectural bureaus to take part in the competition for the best design concept for the interior of the Technopark with a total area of 17,701 sq.m. This was announced by Chief Architect of Moscow Sergey Kuznetsov.
«The design concept of the Technopark’s interior includes an atrium area, offices of the new NTV headquarters, common areas, food services areas and dressing rooms. The challenge of the contest lies in the scale and significance of the new house for one of the country’s leading media companies NTV and the uniqueness of its ultra-modern television technical center. The winner will receive a contract with the Customer for the implementation of the design project and the development of the working documents» — said Sergey Kuznetsov.
The facility under construction with a total area of 76 304 square meters has become the first and only television complex being built in modern Russia. The building will have 9 above ground + 2 underground floors; it is located at the address: 18-22, Novomoskovskaya Street, Ostankino, North-Eastern Administrative Okrug, Moscow. By now, the building frame has already been erected, the facades and roofing have been completed, and the main engineering communications and engineering networks have been connected.
The competition will be held in two stages. At the first public stage of prequalification, everyone who wants to participate in the competition will be invited to submit their portfolio and profile of a professional participant, which they have developed taking into account the requirements of the Customer. At the second stage, the short listed participants will be given the Terms of Reference for the development of a design concept for several principal areas of the project.

NTV was set up in 1993, and is still the only Russian private television channel with the federal status. In addition to the territory of Russia, NTV broadcasting extends to the CIS countries, as well as Western Europe, the Middle East, the USA and Canada. Every year, NTV’s activities are awarded with prizes from the Russian Academy of Television (TEFI). NTV was able to create a new standard for information broadcasting in Russia, characterized by an independent view and objective coverage of events.
Competition operators are Officenext, Projectnext and S.A. Ricci Project Management. The information partner of the competition is the news portal of the Architectural Council of Moscow. Those wishing to participate in the Competition are to submit an application and fill out a questionnaire no later than October 29 2019.
