Architecture of Intelligence: Chess Tournament at ARCH Moscow

19 April 2019

During the 24th International Architecture and Design Exhibition ARCH Moscow one can play chess with the Chief Architect of Moscow Sergey Kuznetsov.

On May 16, from 5:30 to 8:30 PM, Moskomarkhitektura and ARCH Moscow organize the first ever chess tournament during the exhibition for architects, designers, students majoring in relevant programs, journalists and everyone who loves architecture and chess. The organizers welcome even the youngest participants – no age limits!

The chess tournament is the initiative of the chief architect of the Russian capital Sergey Kuznetsov who will also participate in the competition.

It will be a Swiss system tournament. Konstantin Kosteniuk, an honored Russian chess instructor, will be the head judge and co-organizer of the tournament.

Participation in the tournament is free with mandatory registration. The number of participants is limited. Registration and sortition take place at the venue: this year ARCH Moscow for the first time opens at the Moscow Manege (1 Manezhnaya Square) – will open an hour before the start, that is at 4:30 PM.

A pleasant bonus of the competition: the prize fund of the tournament of 100 thousand roubles.
