Winner of Competition for Development of Rizhsky Freight Yard will be Announced on December 20

Finalists of the open international competition for architectural and urban planning development concept of the Rizhsky freight yardsubmitted their projects on November 21, 2019. Each team found their own original approach to the architectural and planning solution of the site, said Chief Architect of Moscow Sergey Kuznetsov

The winner will be selected on December 20 by the jury, which consists of representatives of Russian Railways together with DOM.RF JSC, members of Moscow Government, foreign experts in the field of architecture, urban planning and transport.

 “International competitions, especially open ones, are becoming regular practice in Moscow. All finalists are strong foreign and Russian teams, with vast experience and fresh ideas. The winner will be selected very soon – on December 20, but it is already clear that the city will receive an object that will become its decoration and will be included in the list of the best sites in Moscow” - commented Sergey Kuznetsov.

  • KCAP (Netherlands), SVESMI (Netherlands/Russia)

  • MLA+ (Netherlands), Sergey Kisselev & Partners (Russia)
