The Teaching Block of the School in Troparevo-Nikulino to be Decorated with Flying Saucers
The teaching block for 400 places will be built as part of School No. 1329 in Nikulinskaya Street. The project was approved by Moskomarkhitectura, said Chief Architect of Moscow Sergey Kuznetsov.
“I am very pleased that individual and notable projects appear for state educational institutions. The facades of this building will be made in contrasting black and white tones; metal cassettes with the "water ripple" texture, as well as decorative lamellas, are used for cladding. Entrance groups will be decorated with round canopies that resemble flying saucers. There are also built-in benches here. Columns of different colors will be placed on the central facade at the ground floor level," said Sergey Kuznetsov.
The educational building is intended for teaching students of grades 5-9. The building has an L-shaped volume, in the main part of which there will be classrooms and a lobby, and in the adjoining volume there will be medical offices, an assembly and a sports hall. The total area of the building will be more than seven thousand sq.m.
On the site there is a sports ground for playing volleyball and basketball, for gymnastics, a recreation area, as well as walking paths with interesting landscape design. The greenery on the territory will be treated with care - all the growing trees will be preserved; new ones will be planted additionally.
