The Chief Architect of Moscow, Sergey Kuznetsov, announced this at the 8th St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum.

«It will be a large sports complex with an area of about 30,000 square meters, having two ice arenas — the main one and the other one used for trainings, a curling sheet, several halls for practicing sports and competitions in wrestling, rhythmic gymnastics, basketball, etc. The stands of the main ice arena will accommodate up to 4000 spectators. The complex will also host a hotel with 23 rooms for athletes, conference rooms, sports shops and cafes. The complex will have an appearance of a modern style building; it will naturally complement the Skolkovo Innovation Center group of buildings, as Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, Einstein and James Maxwell Streets are located nearby.

Facades of the complex will be decorated with lamellas made in light shades, alternating with stained glass. For the fourth year in a row, Sergey Kuznetsov, Chief Architect of Moscow, has been curator of the section «Creative Environment and Urbanism» at the Cultural Forum.
