Renovation Program. Black and White house with Arched Windows to Appear on Baumanskaya Street

The first house under the renovation program is being built on Baumanskaya Street. It will be decorated in black and white, and the windows of one of the facades will be arched, said First Deputy Chairman of Moskomarkhitektura, Chief Architect of Moscow Sergey Kuznetsov.

“This house can be considered an example for the entire renovation program, which is being led by Mayor Sergey Sobyanin. It is neatly inscribed in the surrounding buildings, arched windows refer us to classical architecture, and multi-storey sections create an expressive silhouette of the entire building” - said Sergey Kuznetsov.  

The building will consist of five sections with a different number of floors, ten maximum.  “The total area of the facility will be about 31 thousand square meters. At the same time, the first floors will be completely given over to the public function - shops, pharmacies, cafes, and the entrances to institutions and enterprises will be located on the outside of the house”- remarked Sergey Kuznetsov.

The sections form a landscaped courtyard, which will be open to residents of the entire area. Here you will find a playground for children, a sports field and a relaxation area. The exact address of the site is Baumanskaya Street, property 47/1.
