Parking Lot with "Leaves" on Facades and Green Roof Will Be Built in Kuntsevo

A mechanized parking lot will be constructed near the village of Zakharkovo. Unusual facades made of decorative elements resembling dense foliage will be a distinctive feature of the building, said Chief Architect of Moscow, First Deputy Chairman of Moscow Committee for Architecture and Construction Sergey Kuznetsov.

“The complex will be distinguished by original facades: starting from the second floor, it is planned to finish the enclosing structures with decorative plaster with a metallized effect, and volumetric decorative elements made of metal cassettes resembling leaves in shape will be placed at the top. Foliage shades will vary from light to dark. In addition, the roof will be decorated with large trees in tubs. For such a utilitarian structure as a parking lot, this is a truly unique project, and an excellent example that can be made use of” - said Sergey Kuznetsov.

The multi-level parking will have nine overground floors (the last one will have a boiler room) and two underground floors. The capacity is 1383 parking spaces. The total area of the building will be about 34 thousand square meters. Architectural lighting is provided on the facades.

On the ground floor there will be a public space closed from rain, where you can send a car to a mechanized parking lot and get it back.
