Finishing of houses and traditional Chinese style gazebos in Park Huaming is going to be completed. The embankment around the pond is ready and water lilies are blooming. This was announced by Sergey Kuznetsov, Chief Architect of Moscow.

President of Association of Landscape Architects of Russia (ALAROS) Taisia Volftrub supervised the project, while ARTEZA, a Russian landscape design company, is the designer and the General Contractor. Turenscape, one of the biggest Chinese landscape architecture companies was invited for consulting.

“The park complex will be as much authentic as possible; it will be decorated with buildings in the traditional style of Northern China with its original decor and ornaments. There will be complete houses for commercial use combined in a single group, and small gazebos for recreation. The facades of the houses are now in the active construction stage – specially invited artists from China will paint them” - said Sergey Kuznetsov.

Facades of the buildings will be decorated with beautiful ornaments in traditional colors - green, red and blue. One of the main elements of the architectural complex will be the arch of the main entrance - animal figurines located on the roof will add charm and identity. In the old days people believed that each pattern had its own meaning and served to protect the home and family from the evil eye.

“The climatic characteristics of Russia have influenced the construction technology - traditional Chinese houses will be made not only from wood, but also from other materials suitable for our weather conditions. The differences will be invisible for nonprofessionals as all the elements of Chinese architecture are worked out very carefully. For example, we use the typical purple color - the so-called “cinnabar, and the tile of the “monk-nun” type, which makes an interesting pattern; the tiles were produced at a factory in Luoyang which previously supplied materials for the restoration of the Forbidden City in Beijing ” - commented Dmitry Onishchenko, General Director of ARTEZA Company.

At present, artificial hills have been formed in the park, Taihu and Lingbi stones first brought from Chinese deposits in the provinces of Anhui and Shandong have been installed, stones from the Caucasus are being laid, and an embankment around the pond with blooming water flowers is ready.
