The facades of the hotel on Podolskoye Shosse will be decorated with semi-columns made of fashion aluminum sheet. Their shape will resemble a stack of coins. According to the authors of the project, this is a reference to the nearby Moscow Mint, said Sergey Kuznetsov, Chief Architect of Moscow, first Deputy Chairman of Moskomarkhitektura.

“The facades will be decorated with semi-columns made of fashion aluminum sheet, shaped like a stack of coins. They alternate in a checkerboard pattern, and form French balconies at the corners of the building. The building is successfully integrated into the urban fabric - it emphasizes the metricity of the plastic solution of the Mint, and the bright, pure color of silver gives the image a visual lightness. The effect of airiness is enhanced by the internal illumination of the semi-columns and the perforated texture of aluminum,” said Sergey Kuznetsov.

According to the idea of the architects from APEX Project Bureau, it was decided to use cassettes from perforated aluminum sheet, decorative inserts from aluminum panels in the color of the main material, stemalite for decoration.

The hotel with a total area of about 18 thousand square meters will be built at the address: Moscow, Podolskoye Shosse, 3. The building will have 13 floors and a two-level underground parking. The lobby, technical rooms and offices are designed on the ground floor.

“The first two floors are united in height by floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows, the main entrance is partially recessed, and the canopy above it reflects the stylistic continuity of facade solutions, visually uniting all the plastic elements of the building into a single whole,” said APEX architects.

On the east side there will be a patio courtyard. The glazed entrance group helps to visually unite the interior space with the landscape park. At the level of the last floor, part of the roof can be used as an observation deck.
