Capital to host Moscow Open tennis tournament

From 11 to 18 August, the Moscow Open tennis tournament will take place in the Russian capital. A total of 128 players from Russia, Belarus, France, Italy, Morocco, Sweden, Slovakia, and Ukraine will compete for the title.

The tournament will be held at the Belokamennaya children’s tennis academy. The Moscow Open will feature women’s, men’s and doubles main draws. The doubles final will take place on 17 August at 2 pm. The men’s finals will take place on 18 August at 11 am followed by the women’s finals at 12:30 pm. The trophy ceremony will be held on the same day.

The Moscow Open has been a professional tournament of the International Tennis Federation since 2005. For almost all of its winners, the tournament was their ticket to a professional tennis career.
