Moskomarkhitektura approved a project for a hotel complex on Leninsky Prospekt. According to Chief Architect of Moscow Sergey Kuznetsov, the building will stand out with a contrasting and geometric facade.

“The building will emerge both from a distant view for those traveling by transport, and from a close-up view for pedestrians. The central facade has a console with panoramic glazing that grows from floor to floor, which adds airiness and lightness to the whole structure. The first two floors will be given over to public functions: a fitness center, conference rooms, a restaurant and so on. An underground parking is also provided. As previously reported by Mayor Sergey Sobyanin, more than 5 million tourists visited Moscow during the New Year holidays alone, so the need for hotels is steadily growing,” said Sergey Kuznetsov.

Frontal facades form an overhanging structure on each floor. They will be to cladded with panels of natural stone so that the color changes from dark to light, giving additional volume to the entire building. The first two floors will be almost completely glazed.

It is planned that the hotel will be built at the follwoing address: Leninsky Prospekt, 90/2. The total area of the building will be 33 thousand square meters. The complex for a comfortable stay provides guests with a fitness center with a spa area, transformable banquet and conference rooms, a lobby bar. The restaurant serving specialty cuisine, with panoramic views will also be opened on the top floor.
