Acceptance of Works for the Second Open Competition ArchiDigitalArts Extended until March 20
The acceptance of works for the Second open competition of digital architectural graphics ArchiDigitalArts 2 has been extended until March 20 2020.
Digital technology provides a huge toolkit for visualizing projects, research and ideas. Many architects already have high-level skills of using this toolkit, and at the same time specialized services are developing with might and main.
But how inventive, meaningful, adequate to the tasks and essence of architectural designs are the possibilities of various graphic programs? How are the author’s personality, the “DNA” of creative units and groups expressed in computer images, is it possible to develop their own unique language and style in digital media?
In order to consider these phenomena and contribute to the development of visual culture in the architectural environment, the 360.ru Site Group is hosting the second open All-Russian competition of digital architectural graphics with international participation on the PinWin platform - ArchiDigitalArts 2.
The competition accepts works performed in any computer programs and on any electronic media. Mixed media images are allowed (hand drawing + computer processing). Each participant can submit one work for the competition, which is from one to five files with interconnected images. Images may relate to existing or once existing architecture, architectural spaces, urban planning concepts. It can include architectural fantasies, graphic studies, images for one project (search sketches or representative visualizations, regardless of the stage and implementation status).
Works in which the authors depicting architecture express their position, philosophy, attitude to the world, socially significant ideas are particularly welcome.
Architects, artists, visualizers, professionals and students of creative studios and universities (from 14 years old) are invited to participate in the competition.
There is no entry fee to participate in the competition.

Evaluation of works
After the end of moderation, the Jury distributes and reviews the works in two categories: Architectural Fantasy and Project Visualization. It is scheduled to announce a winner in each category.
First of all, the jury will assess the correlation of artistic and semantic aspects, the choice of art techniques and effects aimed at creating an image, mood, atmosphere, emotional and aesthetic impact.
To understand the expectations from the works submitted for the competition, evaluation criteria, the lines between craft and art in digital images, it is recommended to watch a round-table video with the participation of the jury “Imitation vs interpretation. For winners and laureates of the competition, diplomas and valuable prizes are provided by organizers and partners.
Acceptance of works: until March 20 2020, 11:30 p.m. (Moscow time)
End of moderation - publication of all accepted works on the contest website: until March 25 2020.
Summary and Award Ceremony: April 23, 07.00 p.m., LAUFEN Gallery. Entrance by invitation.
