Residential Сomplex in Neoclassical Style will be Built Next to Cathedral of Christ the Savior

Moskomarkhitektura approved the project of a residential complex in Soymonovsky Proezd. According to Chief Architect of Moscow Sergey Kuznetsov, the building located near the Cathedral of Christ the Savior will be made in the neoclassical style.

The complex will be constructed at the address: plot 3, Khamovniki, Soymonovskiy proezd, Its total area will be about 39 thousand square meters.

“The facades in the neoclassical style will be faced with natural stone, also, inserts of bricks will and copper will be made and decorative forged elements will be added.  Besides, glazing will be actively used. For a long time, there have been no objects of such an area and with such a location in the neighborhood, and there is no doubt that the project will be implemented at a high level” - said Sergey Kuznetsov.

The complex will consist of a five-storey building in Soymonovsky Proezd and a two-storey building in 2nd Obydensky Lane. At the moment, the site is free of construction. The first floors will be occupied by administrative premises and retail outlets. Each entrance will be equipped with two modern noiseless elevators. The rest of the area is reserved for apartments.

The adjoining territory is a landscaped courtyard: shrubs will be planted here, lawns will be laid out and recreation areas will be equipped. A parking lot for residents will be located underground.

The concept was developed by Paris Classical Architecture bureau, and Podzemproekt OOO is also working on the project.
