Educational Building with Mirrored Facades will Appear in Troparyovo-Nikulino
An educational building with mirrored facades, designed for students of grades 5 to 9, will appear in Troparyovo-Nikulino District. This was announced by Chief Architect of Moscow, First Deputy Chairman of Moscow Committee for Architecture Sergey Kuznetsov.
The educational building for 400 places making part of school No. 1329 will be constructed at the address: Nikulinskaya street md. 2A. The project was developed by Mosproekt-4 JSC.
“The building with an area of7348 sq.m will have four floors. To finish the facades, steel mirror cassettes with a “water ripple” texture are used in combination with bullet-shaped aluminum lamellas, as well as dark-colored plaster and porcelain stoneware slabs. Multi-colored columns will be placed along the central facade at the level of the first floor. According to Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, since 2011, 356 kindergartens and 153 schools have been built in Moscow so far. These are modern institutions, fully equipped with everything necessary for comfortable learning, and interesting from the point of view of architecture,” Sergey Kuznetsov said.
The building is going to be L-shaped; its main part will house classrooms and a lobby, and in the adjoining space there will be medical rooms, a sports hall and a hall for events.
The site will have a sports ground for playing volleyball and basketball, for gymnastics, a recreation area, as well as round gazebos that stylistically repeat the architectural solutions of the educational building.
