A Sports Complex Aquatoria ZIL Opened in Moscow
A sport complex Aquatoria with two swimming pools and trampolines was opened at ZIL. This is the second stage of construction of the Aquatics Center built as part of the project for the comprehensive reorganization of the former industrial zone.
A single complex with a total area of 28.5 thousand square meters consists of two parts with the possibility of separate operation. The first part of the complex, opened in 2017, houses the Anastasia Davydova Olympic Synchronized Swimming Center. The Aquatoria building with an area of over 15 thousand square meters houses modern swimming pools and gyms for practicing water and acrobatic sports.
The indoor pool will operate primarily for swimming sports schools, but some of the eight lanes will be left for public use. The outdoor pool is for everyone. It is equipped with underwater lighting and heated lanes for the cold season.
In addition to swimming, you can also jump on a trampoline in Aquatoria. A special gym has a set of equipment for training athletes of the Olympic level. There were seven trampolines, two acrobatic platforms and a large inflatable pit installed there.
And, finally, there is also a full-fledged fitness center equipped for workouts, including dry swimming equipment, which allow you to work out elements of all swimming styles on land. And after exhausting workouts, a Finnish sauna, a hammam and a salt cave are available to visitors.
