An exhibition of watercolors by Sergey Kuznetsov, an artist, Chief Architect of Moscow and head of Creative Environment and Urbanism Section at St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum opened at Annenkirche on September 7.

“Touching the paper with a brush for me is always an expression of a unique moment in life, and in its duration, not completeness. Watercolor is a real art of light touches, and thoughtful incompleteness and understatement are its organic techniques that require the artist to be able to stop in time. 12 works selected for the exhibition in Annenkirche  are12 touches to beautiful architecture, 12 impressions from the process of its existence in the stream of life ", - the author comments on the title and concept of the exhibition.

Opening of the exposition and Sergey Kuznetsov s master class on watercolors: September 7 2021, 19:00.

Today, the archive of Sergey Kuznetsov contains over 1000 graphic and watercolor sheets dedicated to buildings from different countries and times. The choice of works for the exhibition at Annenkirche Church was largely influenced by its romantic image and dramatic fate.

The characters of the 12 watercolors presented at the exhibition are literally and figuratively iconic buildings in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rome, Venice and other cities of the world.

The exhibition will be held with the support of St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum from September 7-26 at the address: St. Petersburg, Annenkirche, Kirochnaya st., 8v. The exposition was designed by Agniya Sterligova / Planet 9. The curator was Ekaterina Shalina.
