Marat Khusnullin: Construction of Alabyano-Baltiisky tunnel completed in Moscow

The construction of Alabyano-Baltiisky tunnel has been completed in Moscow, Deputy Moscow Mayor for Urban Development and Construction Marat Khusnullin told journalists.

“Both tunnels are constructed. As soon as the documents are executed, the second section will be unveiled,” the Deputy Mayor said. He added that the area around the construction site will be developed in spring when the snow melts.

Mr Khusnullin said the construction of the Kotelniki metro station on the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya Line is 98-percent complete. “Documents are being executed and the station is becoming operational in a test mode. In the next one or two months it will be opened,” he said.

By summer, plans include opening the Rumyantsevo and Salaryevo metro stations on the Sokolnicheskaya Line. By the end of the year, the plans are to put three new stations into operation on the Maryina Roshcha-Petrovsko-Razumovskaya section of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya Line.
