Over 40 proposals submitted to contest for developing Triumfalnaya Square
The Moscow City Architecture Committee has received over 44 proposals on developing an architectural concept for the comprehensive improvement and future development of Triumfalnaya Square.
The contest was announced on 22 January.
The open contest has drawn 130 registered participants, such as institutes and architectural bureaus, young architects, young experts, and students.
Despite the tight timeframe for the contest and project implementation, the idea is not to develop an improvement plan, but a plan for developing the square in the future. The jury will study all of the proposals submitted to the contest on 28 February.
The contest customer is the Major Repairs Directorate.
The contest organiser is the Moscow City Architecture Committee and the Moscow Department for Major Housing Repairs.
