Zaryadye Park to host the Moscow Urban Forum this year
In 2018, the Moscow Urban Forum will be held in Zaryadye Park. “Between 17-22 July, leading experts, urban specialists and architects will discuss the future of mega cities.
The key theme will be the Megalopolis of the Future: New Space for Living,” Head of the Moscow Department of Urban Development Policy Sergei Lyovkin said.
On the agenda will be conferences, an exhibition, a festival, experimental labs and a presentation of case studies.
Last year’s Urban Forum was held in Pavilion No. 75 at the National Exhibition of Economic Achievements (VDNKh). It became the largest platform for the discussion of the future of cities and agglomerations. The business agenda attracted 11,000 people from 68 countries, and the exhibition of urban projects, 50,000 visitors.
A festival was held that involved more than 20 cultural venues in Moscow. Guests at the lectures, presentations and discussions learnt about public art, the economy of joint consumption, the global operations system and much more.
