Accepting applications for Moscow Architectural Awards opens on December
On December 1 acceptance of applications for Moscow Awards in Architecture and Urban Planning opens. It was announced by Chief Architect of Moscow, curator of the section Creative Environment and Urbanism, Sergey Kuznetsov during the VII St. Petersburg Cultural Forum.
The Award is conferred since 2017. Before that Committee for Architecture and Urban Planning recognized the best projects as a part of “the Prize of Archcouncil of Moscow”.
“Authors or team of authors, which designed the most expressive, original, high quality architectural and urban planning solution of the capital construction project can qualify for award”, - noted Sergey Kuznetsov.
Collection of applications for the participation in the Awards will be performed by the Committee for Architecture and Urban Planning of the city of Moscow from December 1, 2018 till February 15, 2019. Application form and e-mail address will be published on the Moskomarkhitektura website and portal Archcouncil of Moscow on December 1, 2018.
The projects which gained architectural and urban planning solution in 2018 will be assessed by expert jury, which will be composed of the leading international and Russian experts, representatives of public organizations, figures from art, science, and culture. It will be headed by Chief Architect of Moscow Sergey Kuznetsov.
The Awards winners will be announced solemnly on the eve of the Architect’s Day. The winners will get up to 5 prizes in the amount of RUB 1 mln. each.
