The Chief Architect of Moscow will take part in INTERNI Magazine’s International Exhibition

04 April 2016

Sergey Kuznetsov, Chief Architect of Moscow, became a co-author of the Towers sculptural composition, which will be set up in the center of the main courtyard of the University of Milan — La Statale in the framework of INTERNI Magazine’s Design Week which starts on 11th April.

The theme of this year’s exhibition is Open Borders. Together with architects, Sergey Choban and Agnia Sterligova , Sergey Kuznetsov designed an art installation in the form of a tower, the surface of which is an interactive canvas for architectural graphics.

Some of the images were chosen and made in advance — these are the drawings created by Sergey Choban and Sergey Kuznetsov. Other pictures may be drawn by visitors themselves — with the help of tablets and styluses placed in the four corners of the university courtyard.

“We have already been participating in this exhibition for five years; we are invited to this interesting interdisciplinary event for architects, — Sergey Kuznetsov said. — Today, the city government considers the field of architecture as not only a construction industry element, but also as the image-building element, which means that the city and Mayor Sergey Sobyanin are open for changes, and ready to communicate with the professional international community. I think architecture has always been a bridge of communication with foreign countries in terms of cultural and business exchange.”

The Towers project was implemented by VELKO.
